Prith Banerjee is the Chief Technology Officer of ANSYS where he is responsible for leading the evolution of ANSYS’ Technology strategy and champion the company’s next phase of innovation and growth He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of CUBIC, and Cray, Inc. Previously he used to be Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry. Formerly, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of Schneider Electric. Previously, he was Managing Director of Global Technology Research and Development at Accenture. Formerly, he was Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of ABB, a power and automation company in Zurich, Switzerland. Earlier, he was Senior Vice President of Research at HP and Director of HP Labs. Formerly, he was Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Formerly, he was the Walter P. Murphy Professor and Chairman of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northwestern University. Prior to that, he was Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2000, he founded AccelChip, a developer of products for electronic design automation, which was acquired by Xilinx Inc. in 2006. During 2005-2011, he was Founder, Chairman and Chief Scientist of BINACHIP Inc., a developer of products in electronic design automation. He is a Fellow of the AAAS, ACM and IEEE, and a recipient of the 1996 ASEE Terman Award and the 1987 NSF Presidential Young Investigator Award. He received a B.Tech. in electronics engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana.

Al Beydoun
Dr. Beydoun is the President and Executive Director of ODVA, a leading international standards development organization whose mission is to advance open, interoperable information and communication technologies for industrial automation. ODVA is also driving the application of IOT to industrial automation including the use of Internet technologies to automate industrial processes and to secure the exchange of data between plant devices and business applications.

Dr. Beydoun began his career working in the automotive industry in the design and development of electronic controls modules. He worked in various areas of powertrain electronics engineering at Ford Motor Company and Visteon Corporation before moving to Lear Corporation where he most recently served as Director of Software and Systems engineering working with body, gateways, high power and other controls modules applications.

Dr. Beydoun holds an undergraduate and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Ph.D. in Electrical and Systems Engineering from Wayne State University, and an MBA from Michigan State University.

Roger Bou is the International Innovation Director at Fira de Barcelona, ​​leading the global reference event: IoT Solutions World Congress. Mr. Bou is specialized in the development of new business and marketing strategies, leading change and managing international sales teams.

Tony Guerion
Tony Guerion joined Vodafone in 2010 and was appointed Global Head of Sales of IoT on 2016 responsible for IoT’s global sales strategy. Prior to this, Tony held the role of IoT Sales Director for Southern Europe & Middle East and Head of Vodafone’s IoT product portfolio in the past.

Jason Mann

Mann leads the product development direction for SAS’ solutions in Manufacturing, Energy, Retail and Health and Life Sciences. He coordinates forward-looking solution development and consistent delivery of the SAS brand across the company’s 14,000 employees in over 400 offices worldwide.
Yasuyuki Nishioka
Professor Yasuyuki Nishioka is President of Industrial Value Chain Initiative (IVI) and a Professor of Information Management Design at Hosei University in Tokyo. His research interest includes connected manufacturing, planning and scheduling, platforms for manufacturing and organization intelligence. After receiving a PhD degree in Engineering from Interdisciplinary Course on Advanced Science and Technology of the University of Tokyo in 1996, he taught in Tokyo University of Science and Hosei University. From 2003 to 2004, he was a visiting scholar at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and since then has been a professor of Faculty of Engineering and Design at Hosei University.

In early 2000s, Yasuyuki Nishioka founded PSLX Forum promoting strategic utilization of IT in manufacturing industry, as well as developing specifications for international standardization of IEC 62264-3:2007 in the area of advanced planning and scheduling (APS). When he was a director of the production system division of Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers in 2014, he formed a group of leaders who wish to make an initiative of digital transformation in manufacturing. Then in 2015, he founded IVI for connected manufacturing with loosely defined standards. He has been leading IVI which currently has more than 500 members including major Japanese enterprises as well as SMEs.
Derek O’Halloran
As head of the Future of Digital Economy and Society at the Forum, Derek O’Halloran is responsible for driving private-public cooperation to ensure that the digital revolution is a force for good. Projects cover topics such as the transformation of industries, policy and regulation and social inclusión.
Vincent Rutgers
Vincent Rutgers is the Global Sector Leader, Industrial Products & Construction with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (Deloitte Global) and a Consulting partner with Deloitte Northwest Europe based in The Netherlands. The sector he leads is among the largest in Deloitte’s global portfolio in terms of revenues and covers six segments, including: Aerospace and Defense, Construction companies, Industrial Conglomerates, Industry Products, Heavy Machinery and Equipment, and (Japanese) Trading House clients. Vincent directs a global network of partners and professionals to grow Deloitte’s relationship with strategic clients, delivering the full suite of business solutions and capabilities that the Firm has to offer. ​

In addition, Vincent serves as the Global Lead Client Partner for Royal Philips, which is an important global crown jewel clients for Deloitte. In this capacity, he orchestrates the Deloitte global client service strategy and team, and interacts frequently with the client’s senior leadership to provide strategic advice and ensure the effective delivery of the client’s business transformation objectives. ​

As a leading commentator of trends and issues related to Industry 4.0, Vincent is highly sought after to speak with clients and at global industry events on the future of manufacturing. ​

Vincent joined Deloitte in 2012 to lead the newly formed Deloitte Digital practice in The Netherlands and expanded his responsibilities to focus on Philips, as well as assume a regional industry leadership role to organize the go-to-market focus for the Consumer & Industrial Products Industry group in Northwest Europe. He subsequently led the Industrial Products & Construction sector for the Europe, Middle East and Africas (EMEA) region, and continues to do so. ​

Prior to joining Deloitte, Vincent worked in various consulting roles for other professional services firms. His distinguished 30+ years of experience includes roles within industry focused on production process optimization for global manufacturing and telecommunications companies including Texas Instruments, Philips and AT&T Network Systems.​

Vincent holds an MBA in Marketing from TiasNimbas Business School and a Bachelor in Commerical Engineering from Twente university, both in The Netherlands. He also completed post-graduate courses in marketing management and strategic thinking from Wharton Business School in the United States.

Rafael Salmi

Dr. Rafael Salmi is Global President and GM of Richardson RFPD (an Arrow Electronics company) a global provider of IoT, RF, Wireless and High-power hardware and software technologies and solutions to industrial markets. Dr Salmi has over 26 years leadership experience in  technology. 


Rafael is a technology executive with a proven track record of profitable revenue growth and global P&L management. He has solid experience successfully building and transforming organizations, attracting and developing talent, and growing mutually beneficial relationships with customers and suppliers. Having been based in North America, South America, Europe and with extensive time spent in Asia, Rafael is an effective multi-cultural communicator and with a highly proficient understanding of Global Markets.  

Rafael is recognized as an inspirational and change leader with a persistent approach to grow revenue. Dr. Salmi published several technology papers and serves in several global technology boards. 


Dr. Salmi hold a PhD in Experimental Physics from University Joseph-Fourier, Grenoble and is fluent in English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese 

Stan Schneider

Stan Schneider is CEO of Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the Industrial Internet of Things connectivity platform company. RTI is the largest embedded middleware vendor, with an extensive footprint in all areas of the Industrial Internet of Things, including Energy, Medical, Automotive, Transportation, Defense, and Industrial Control. Appinions recently named RTI the “most influential” company in the Industrial Internet of Things.

Stan serves on the Steering Committee of the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC, With over 250 companies, the goal of the IIC is to develop, test, and promote the architecture for the next industrial revolution. RTI co-chairs the IIC connectivity, data management, interoperability, and security teams. RTI also co-leads testbeds in smartgrid, healthcare, and edge computing.

Stan also serves on the advisory boards for Smart Industry and IoT Solutions World Congress. Embedded Computing Design Magazine presented Stan the Top Embedded Innovator Award for 2015.

Stan holds a BS and MS from the University of Michigan and a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford University.

Toni Shakib

Tony Shakib leads Microsoft’s IoT Business Acceleration (IBA) team inside Azure engineering organization and drives the Azure IoT Eco-system and strategic business engagements for top 100 IoT Enterprise Accounts, Partners, Developers and ISV/Startups.

Tony is accountable for IoT customer value realization, business development, rapid solution deployment, joint customer GTM programs and accelerating time and process to large-scale commercial deployments.

The IBA team focuses on top industries such as IIoT/Manufacturing, Mobility/Connected Vehicle, Smart Spaces/Utilities, Retail, Healthcare and Agriculture.

Microsoft IoT team develops unique IoT/AI/ML technologies and digital solutions for all industries. Microsoft is also the leader in the hybrid intelligent cloud and edge architectures and provides a comprehensive Platform-as-a-service and Software-as-a-service (IoT Central) capabilities for rapidly developing and deploying massively scalable IoT applications.

Tony has more than 27 years of business leadership and management experience in the communications space. As Vice President of IoT Vertical Business Solutions for Cisco, Tony led Cisco’s Internet of Things business development, Industrial solutions creation, Vertical thought leadership and customer relevancy across Process Manufacturing (Oil & Gas and Mining), Discrete manufacturing, Transportation, Utilities, Smart City, M2M, Retail and Defense verticals. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering with honors in Math from McMaster and Brock Universities in Ontario, Canada.

Richard Soley

Dr. Richard Mark Soley is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OMG ®, Executive Director of the Cloud Standards Customer Council, and Executive Director of the Industrial Internet Consortium. As Chairman and CEO of OMG, Dr. Soley is responsible for the vision and direction of the world’s largest consortium of its type. Dr. Soley joined the nascent OMG as Technical Director in 1989, leading the development of OMG’s world-leading standardization process and the original CORBA® specification. In 1996, he led the effort to move into vertical market standards (starting with healthcare, finance, telecommunications and manufacturing) and modeling, leading first to the Unified Modeling Language TM (UML®) and later the Model Driven Architecture® (MDA®).

He also led the effort to establish the SOA Consortium in January 2007, leading to the launch of the Business Ecology Initiative (BEI) in 2009. The Initiative focuses on the management imperative to make business more responsive, effective, sustainable and secure in a complex, networked world, through practice areas including Business Design, Business Process Excellence, Intelligent Business, Sustainable Business and Secure Business. In addition, Dr. Soley is the Executive Director of the Cloud Standards Customer Council, helping end-users transition to cloud computing and direct requirements and priorities for cloud standards throughout the industry. In 2014, Dr. Soley helped found the Industrial Internet Consortium and (IIC) serves as Executive Director of the organization. The IIC was formed to accelerate the development, adoption and wide-spread use of interconnected machines and devices, intelligent analytics, and people at work. The members of the IIC catalyze and coordinate the priorities and enabling technologies of the Industrial Internet.

Dr. Soley also serves on numerous industrial, technical and academic conference program committees, and speaks all over the world on issues relevant to standards, the adoption of new technology and creating successful companies. He is an active angel investor, and was involved in the creation of both the Eclipse Foundation and Open Health Tools.

Satyam Vaghani

Satyam Vaghani is VP/GM of IoT and AI at Nutanix. He leads product strategy, engineering, and GTM for an edge computing stack and IoT application platform that enables analytics, machine learning, and seamless deployment of code and movement of data across edge and cloud. Prior to Nutanix, he was co-founder and CTO at PernixData, which grew to 2 shipping product lines, 200 employees, and 800 customers worldwide before acquisition. He started his career as an early engineer at VMware and went on to become Principal Engineer and Storage CTO. Satyam has authored 50+ issued patents, co-authored T10 and IETF protocol specifications, and has been a regular speaker at VMworld, .NEXT and other forums. Satyam received his MS in CS from Stanford and Bachelors in CS from BITS Pilani.
